    That blew the cobwebs away! 🚶‍♀️ Last Friday we took on the Chesterfield Construction & Property Netwalk thanks to Claire Thompson FCII and Kriston Harvey from @acrisurearena and @rodgersleask We did a loop through the Hope Valley from Edale in windy and wet conditions but was really enjoyable. A great end to the week in the fresh air with a great mix of people, some we’ve worked with and newer connections. Pub lunch at the Nags Head, warm and cosy after a wet, slippery walk! Good to spend time with Carrie Booth at @bsp.consulting and Tom Smith MRICS @gleedsglobal

    We took a trip to Nottingham today with @naomisgardencharity to see the new @footprints_nottingham Conductive Education Centre. A project very similar to the one we are leading with Naomi’s Garden in Louth - new premises transformation - it was incredibly useful and inspiring to see how Footprints’ works have come together to provide an incredible space for the families it supports and the growth in that service they can now provide. Thank you team Footprints, it’s was fantastic to hear about and see your journey to the new centre. 👏🏼 We are still looking for friends in the industry to support our Naomi’s Garden Lincs project which will have an immeasurable impact on the lives of children in the East Midlands. Please get in touch if you think you could help. 🫶🏽 Thanks to @blueprint.interiors for organising this for us. 🙏🏼

    Super pleased to have donated £170 to Flower Pod Newark, park of @reach_learning_disability The money was raised at our first Newark Creative Quarter event at the end of last year and we are pleased to be supporting a local charity. Flower Pod Newark is an allotment project, led by Reach, which has created a community garden for people with learning disabilities so they can take part in gardening-related learning and social activities, make new friends, enjoy outdoor activities, and learn new skills as well as opportunities for supported volunteering and mentoring. #flowerpodnewark #charitysupport #landscapearchitect

    The team enjoyed a really informative presentation by Stephen Chebrika of @gravitasinternational demonstrating its Flex MSE (mechanically stabilised earth) engineering system for vegetated retaining walls. Capable of being installed vertically the sustainable system requires minimal foundations, is quick to install, and BREEAM compatible. Case studies include some great examples using #hydroseeding and #liveplanting to help the system assimilate into the local #landscape. Thanks Stephen. 🙏🏼

    This week, Shona attended a @womeninplanning event at Nottingham Library, focusing on the role of strategic and principal authorities in planning. The evening featured keynote speaker Amy Harhoff, Chief Executive of the @eastmidscca, alongside an introduction from Tamsin Cottle at Green 4 Planning. The discussion highlighted the evolving responsibilities of strategic authorities and the importance of inclusive leadership within the planning profession. Women in Planning is an independent network dedicated to promoting a diverse, equitable and inclusive planning industry. While championing women’s voices, the networking event welcomes everyone and focuses on recognising that equality is only achieved through inclusion. A thoroughly enjoyable event with valuable insights and inspiring conversations, thank you to the organisers for having us 👏 #womeninplanning #nottinghamnetworking #planningindustry #inclusiveplanning

    The LNER Stadium and @lincolncityfoundation has a new green space - ‘Poacher’s Patch’. 🪴 An incredible opportunity for Influence to be a part of the delivery team on this community project alongside @dysonfarming @lindumgroup @westlindseylandscapes and Turnbull and Co. A strip of overgrown unused land at the stadium has been redeveloped to create a new green space which will be used by the Foundation’s existing community programmes. Influence provided designs to help inform the garden and opened dialogue with suppliers. It’s fantastic to see it now being used. A great team effort! 🙌🏽 #poacherspatch #communityproject #communitylandscapeproject

    Dynamic Lincoln - festive celebration 🎄 As a member of this fantastic industry networking group which has been going for over ten years, the end-of-year meet is always a special one. This year's event saw the members and guests connect and reflect on the last 12 months of business in Lincolnshire, but most importantly, we remembered and toast our dearly missed Chairman Tim Downing. Tim was hugely generous in spirit, a leading force for good in Lincolnshire and beyond and as a founding member of Dynamic Lincoln, integral to its success. The members will continue to drive the group forward with collaboration at its heart, as Tim would have wanted. Thank you to Nick Baseley from IBA Planning for joining Sara as her guest.
