  9. In association with Team Leicester and Invest in Leicester, ‘Constructive Change - Shaping Cities and Creating Spaces to Attract Talent’ took place at WinstanleCarousel

    In association with Team Leicester and Invest in Leicester, ‘Constructive Change - Shaping Cities and Creating Spaces to Attract Talent’ took place at Winstanley House in the city this week. It was a fantastic opportunity for regional property and construction professionals to connect with and hear about the future of Leicester and Leicestershire’s built environment, as presented by senior leaders. Thank you to Mike Denby, Director of Inward Investment and Place at Invest Leicester, Andrew Smith, Director Planning and Regeneration at Leicester ity Council, and Marc Greenwood, Executive Director of Place at Blaby District Council. With a review of recent and future developments, some key take aways were: 🛣The importance of investment in associated infrastructure 📈The fundamental aim of helping businesses grow and the need to work with local groups 📋The new Local Plan is on programme to be adopted in the next few weeks and the pathway to the establishment of new unitary authorities in 2028 sets out key milestones for how councils are moving forwards.   As always, lovely to catch up with some familiar faces and meet some new, especially over lunch! #teamleicester #leicesterlandscape #landscapearchitect
