The event featured an inspiring talk from Sophie Turner, Founder and Lead Coach of #YesSheCan, who is passionate about empowering women to thrive in their careers while helping businesses create more inclusive and equitable workplace cultures. Sophie’s speech was engaging, thought-provoking and impactful, with plenty of valuable insights and inspiration to take away.     From The Archives 📖 Skegness Tower Gardens We were so pleased to work on the regeneration of Skegness Tower Gardens in 2024, with @gftomlinson - a Grade II Registered Park with origins dating back to the 19th century. Working from RIBA Stage 3–7, the team prepared a long-term vision masterplan and led the delivery of the first phase of improvements. Our priority was to conserve the historic core while enhancing accessibility ♿ and the visitor experience. The scheme included restoration of the original pond and cascade, path upgrades using permeable systems to protect tree health, and the introduction of a new sensory garden. The project breathed life back into this important heritage asset, making it a beautiful place for the general public to use for years to come. The cherry on the cake? It was recognised with a Highly Commended award at the Greater Lincolnshire Construction and Property Awards.🏆 #LandscapeArchitecture #HeritageRegeneration #PublicRealm #Placemaking #UrbanDesign

    From the Archives 📖 | Oakley Grove All Through School In 2025, Influence was appointed by @willmottdixon to lead the landscape design for Oakley Grove All Through School – a £50m, purpose-built education facility in Leamington Spa for up to 1,620 pupils. The site presented its challenges, but that’s okay – we love a good challenge! 💪 🌱 Innovative remodelling to overcome tricky topography ♿ Inclusive, accessible spaces with integrated ramps and terraces 🌿 Sensory planting designed to support wellbeing and independence ⚽ Extensive outdoor facilities, including a 3G pitch, MUGA and sports areas 🚶 Connections to the adjacent Country Park, encouraging active travel and community use Designed in line with DfE guidance, the project demonstrates how thoughtful landscape design can create inclusive, sustainable and engaging environments for education. We worked with @nottinghamshirewildlife to reimagine the former Broadmarsh Shopping Centre in as a nature-led civic space at the heart of Nottingham. The vision? A 100% green redevelopment focused on: 🌱 Improving access to nature 💚 Supporting health and wellbeing 🌍 Driving sustainable economic growth 🦋 Enhancing biodiversity 🏙️ Creating a vibrant, multifunctional urban park Inspired by the site’s historic landscape and the River Leen’s former course, the design brought together spaces for ecology, education, recreation and wellbeing.     ✅ Great news for the team involved in Oakham Grange Phase 2 in Calow, with planning permission granted unanimously by the Planning Committee last week. We were pleased to support the scheme by undertaking the Landscape & Visual Appraisal, including the preparation of a Constraints & Opportunities Plan. The work was led by Maxine Millard here at Influence, and we're delighted to see such a positive outcome. This approval builds on the success of Phase 1 and is a testament to the collaborative effort, hard work and commitment of everyone involved over the past 12–18 months.
