Leonie Brown

Leonie’s career spans horticulture, garden design, landscape planning and higher education, giving her a broad perspective on how landscapes are conceived, designed and experienced. As a Chartered Landscape Architect and Principal at Influence, she works across landscape assessment, planning support, public consultation and the design of residential and commercial schemes. Her experience in practice is complemented by her time lecturing at Nottingham Trent University, where she has supported the next generation of landscape professionals. Leonie is particularly interested in creating landscapes that are distinctive, resilient and rewarding for both people and nature, bringing together creative thinking with a strong understanding of planting, place and the wider planning context.
