Influence have acted as landscape advisers to Sea Change Sussex, a not-for-profit economic development company for the county since 2011. The Sea Change Sussex role is to work to expand the area’s economy, their main focus is to develop a portfolio of prestigious commercial property – offices, business parks and sites for businesses from small firms to big corporations. They do this through the provision of infrastructure and built development.

Providing landscape planning and landscape design services, Influence have advised and developed proposals offering the following services:

Arboriculture, Feasibility and Concept Development, Landscape Design,
Landscape/Townscape and Visual Impact Assessment, Masterplanning and Urban Design

Sites:

• North East Bexhill Gateway Road – 850m single carriageway road connecting Wrestwood Road, Bexhill with the new Combe Valley Way (formerly Bexhill to Hastings Link Road).
• Bexhill Enterprise Park – a major new business and residential community being developed on 42 acres of land between the coastal towns of Bexhill and Hastings.
• Glovers House – landmark project creating a flagship business centre as part of the first phase of development of the Enterprise Park, along with the new North East Bexhill Gateway Road.
• North Bexhill Access Road – westward extension of the North East Bexhill Gateway Road linking the new Combe Valley Way to the northwest of Bexhill. The landscape design includes substantial habitation compensation requirements.
• Queensway Gateway Road, Hastings – a new road which will connect Queensway
